My love of animals started very early in life. When I was born, my sister already had 8 horses. I grew up on a small gentleman’s farm in the Upper Valley of NH. By the time I was a young teen, we had 5 horses, pygmy goats, sheep, chickens, a steer: as well as several dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and pet mice. I attended the University of Findlay for western equestrian studies, and then fell into the veterinary profession. I started as a veterinary assistant when I was 19 and continued to grow my veterinary knowledge. After working as a veterinary technician for 12 years, I became a certified veterinary technician in 2015. In 2018 I become the veterinary technician supervisor.
I live in southern NH with my husband, our 9-year-old son, Tanner; our 3-year-old pit bull, Loki, 4 chickens and a very old Chinese dwarf hamster. I enjoy almost any outside activity with my family; kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, geocaching and just playing in nature.
